Third-year Chicago Bears linebacker Jonathan Bostic will be at Rock Valley College, Thursday, May 21 for a free, open to the public meet and greet from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Student Center Atrium on RVC’s main campus.
Bostic, a second round pick of the Bears in 2013 NFL Draft from the University of Florida, has started 17 games, and played in 29, over his first two seasons, recording 141 tackles, two sacks and an interception.
The meet and greet at Rock Valley College is the first in a series that will be held the third Thursday of the month from May through August. The special guests for the meet and greet will be announced each month.
The meet and greets are an addition this year to the popular Jazzin’ After Work Summer Concert Series that features top jazz musicians from around the region.
Jazzin’ After Hours kicks off the 2015 season immediately following the Jonathan Bostic meet and greet event. Ray Silkman and The Band will perform from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free of charge, and Jazzin’ features free giveaways and refreshments provided by Jersey Mike’s Subs.
