Tell us a little about your job at RVC.
My job is to create partnerships in the community. These partnerships will provide temporary work experience for our participants.
What inspires you?
What do you like to do for fun?
I belong to and ride with charity motorcycle club (yes, my own motorcycle), Buffalo Troopers of Northwest Illinois. The best feeling in the world is the wind in your face on a 500 mile journey for a cause.
What was your very first job?
I worked as a cashier at PoJo Pacemakers.
Who are your role models?
Michelle Obama – The role model for all first ladies moving forward. Jeff Daniels – Honesty is on his list even when people do not want to hear it. Bessie Stringfield -The Motorcycle Queen of Miami in 1927. Madeleine Albright – Led the way in breaking the glass ceiling. Martin Luther King Jr. – Equality for ALL.

Where is your favorite place to go at RVC?
The Student Center around lunch time to observe the students.

What’s the last good movie you have seen?
Sing with my 13 month old grandaughter.
What is your favorite TV show to binge watch?
The Walking Dead
Who is your favorite musician, group or band?
What is your favorite thing to eat?
Pizza and chocolate have equal standing.
Where do you like to go or what do you like to do when you have a long weekend?
I love going to Arkansas where I am disconnected from technology and get to hang out with my best friends.
What might surprise people to learn about you?
Not much, I am pretty much an open book.

What has been your biggest personal challenge?
Raising two young men who have turned out wonderful.

Completing my education with my PhD.
