Tell us a little about your job at RVC.
The Welcome Desk is where the magic happens! We come in contact with all students at some point in their college journey… whether it be during a Getting Started event, a returning student, or just getting a student ID… we are here to help!
What inspires you?
People who walk comfortably in their own shoes. I like when people are true to themselves.
What do you like to do for fun?
Travel! I don’t care if it’s by a plane, train or automobile… I’ll go! I also like to collect fun Mid-Century furniture and chachkies.
What was your very first job?
Baskin Robbins. I was the scooper of 31 flavors of goodness!
Who are your role models?
My Grams. She’s my favorite human on this planet! She always tries to see the positive in people and is always willing to help out someone in need.

I am a member of a local car club called the Bench Seat Bombers.
Where is your favorite place to go at RVC?
The Student Center. The hustle and bustle of students; it’s where the campus is alive!
What is your favorite quote or words to live by?
Take the trip, buy the shoes, eat the cake!
What is the best advice you have ever received?
It’s simple… do what makes you happy, you only have to live with yourself.
What’s the last good book you’ve read?
Elvis and the Memphis Mafia
What’s the last good movie you have seen?
The Magnificent Seven
What is your favorite TV show to binge watch?
Walking Dead or anything on the ID Channel.
Who is your favorite musician, group or band?
Waylon Jennings, Elvis, George Jones & Old Crow Medicine Show… I know, weird.
What is your favorite thing to eat?
Any breakfast food.
Where do you like to go or what do you like to do when you have a long weekend?
Take a motorcycle trip. There’s nothing like the freedom of just heading out with no destination or plan. The longest bike trip I’ve been on was to Canada, Niagara Falls area.
What might surprise people to learn about you?
I drive a 1967 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. It’s 18ft 10in long and tons of fun! I love going to old school car shows.

There is no limits to anything… well except possibly a weight limit on bungee jumping , I’d probably pay close attention to that one.
What has been your biggest personal challenge?
Recently it’s been my new puppy that I found out was deaf after bringing her home. Training has been a little challenging, but boy has she been a real joy to have around. I wouldn’t change her for the world!
What’s the next big thing coming up in your life that you are looking forward to?
A motorcycle trip through Monument Valley, UT and then on to Las Vegas!
