Tell us a little about your job at RVC.
I provide short term individual counseling for students struggling with feelings of anxiety, depression, inadequacy, loneliness, or any other personal concern they may be dealing with. I also work with students to explore resources in the community such as daycare options, housing concerns, long-term counseling, etc. I work with students in the development of educational goal setting and study/time management techniques to help be more successful in the classroom. I also facilitate Wellness Wednesdays and the Early Alert referral system.
What motivates or inspires you?
Music, coffee, people.
What scares you?
Psychological Thrillers and tiny bugs
What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy trying different restaurants, photography, being outside, bike riding, and spending time with my family.
What was your very first job?
My very first job was as a trampoline instructor at Gymnastics Academy in Rockford.
Who are your role models?
My dad – he makes dreams a reality.

What is your favorite TV show to binge watch?
Game of Thrones
What was the first concert you ever attended and what is the most recent concert you have attended?
The first concert I ever went to was N’Sync and the most recent concert I went to was Hozier!
Who is your celebrity crush?
Not sure I have one but I love all movies that have Leonardo DiCaprio in them
Where is your favorite place to eat?
Alchemy, Mexico Classico, and Quartinos in Chicago
Where do you like to go or what do you like to do when you have a long weekend?
I love going to Chicago, Up North, or a short weekend getaway to my families condo in Florida.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Cleaning up my kid’s bedrooms and then turning around 5 minutes later to an F5 tornado.
What might surprise people to learn about you?
I used to be a BMX racer and a competitive tumbler when I was younger. I am also a craft beer connoisseur (my dad was one of the co- owners at Pig Minds in Rockford when they first opened.)
What’s the next big thing coming up in your life that you are looking forward to?
A family trip to Disney World
